German and European Patent Attorney
Martin Galbraith holds a doctorate in physics. At Zimmermann and Partner, Martin focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, as well as opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office. He advises clients particularly in technical areas such as chemistry, medical products, semiconductor technology, optics and materials science.
Martin studied chemistry at the Philipps-University of Marburg and the University of Cambridge and completed his master’s thesis in the field of surface dynamics. During his PhD, Martin worked at the Max-Born-Institut (MBI) for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy, where he focused on femtosecond and attosecond physics.
