Vita
Brett Neale holds a BEng (Hons) in mechanical engineering. At Zimmermann & Partner, Brett specializes in prosecution and opposition procedures regarding European and international patents in the fields of mechanical and process engineering. Having extensive knowledge of patent search tools and techniques, he also assists clients with prior art searching and Freedom to Operate matters.
Brett studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Adelaide, majoring in Automotive Engineering. During his studies, he was involved with the University’s Formula SAE program as Technical Director and competed at Formula SAE Australasia. After graduation, Brett was involved in special purpose machinery design with an Australian CAD/CAE consulting firm, focusing on mining, transportation and process machinery. Upon relocating to Germany, he continued working in the CAD/CAE field with an automotive service provider at Audi AG.
