Vita
Miss Lisa-Marie Jordan is a biotechnologist (M.Sc.). At Zimmermann & Partner she particularly works in the areas of biotechnology, pharmacology, medical technology, genetic engineering and biochemistry. She also works on cases in the area of physics (mechanics) and semiconductor technologies. She works on the prosecution of national and international patent applications as well as on litigation proceedings before the German and European Patent Offices.
Miss Jordan studied pharmaceutical and molecular biotechnology at the University of Applied Sciences Biberach, the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia) and the Technical University of Munich where she graduated with a Master's degree. For her Master’s thesis, Miss Jordan did research in the field of Xenotransplantation on the generation of human minigenes for the transfer into porcine cells intended for somatic cell nuclear transfer. Further, she worked on the generation and analysis of porcine knock-out cells by using the CRISPR/Cas 9 system. Before joining Zimmermann & Partner, Miss Jordan worked in the research & development department of a cancer diagnostic company.
