Vita
Ulrich Graf holds a diploma in physics, is a qualified German and European Patent Attorney, and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.). At Zimmermann & Partner, Ulrich’s work focuses on the technical fields of mechanical engineering, optics, electrical engineering, and information technology. He offers clients support through all stages of patent protection – from drafting and filing of patent applications through to enforcement and defense of the granted patents. His focus of activity comprises German, European and international patents as well as managing trademark and design portfolios.
Ulrich studied physics at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich with a focus on laser physics and quantum optics. During his studies, he held scholarships of the German Academic Foundation and of the State of Bavaria. After graduation he worked at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in the field of femtosecond and attosecond physics.
Furthermore, Ulrich holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Hagen, where his master thesis dealt with complexities and current problems of European constitutional and procedural law.
